The American Le Mans Series race at Laguna Seca in May 2010 will go down in the Series’ history as among the most hard-fought, tense races to date. After nearly six hours of nose-to-tail racing, Patrick Long measured the final restart perfectly, getting the inside line into turn 11 and onto the front straight, then out-dragging the BMW of Joey Hand in the run to turn one. Porsche Panorama, the official magazine of the Porsche Club of America, did a feature for its July issue about the race, and Porsche’s success.
