Teammates Patrick Long and Michael Christensen took p9 at the racetrack formerly known as Mosport Sunday, after starting in p8. Patrick raced the car as high as 4th in the ultra-competitive GTLM class, handing over to his Danish teammate just past half-distance.
Long said, ““The opening stint I had a good battle with Farnbacher and Tandy. I tried to maintain position at the end with Priaulx. It was challenging with the changing track conditions. It had just stopped raining and then the grip went down pretty quickly. I had a tough middle section of the stint, but the beginning and the end were quite strong. My main focus was to keep the car clean and within striking distance.”
The Tudor United Sportscar Championship races next at Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the Brickyard Grand Prix, July 24-25.
