Following a high-speed crash for Patrick Lindsey in qualifying, the no. 73 Porsche 911 GT3 R of Park Place Motorsport has been withdrawn from Sunday’s IMSA race at Weathertech Raceway Laguna Seca. Lindsey thankfully walked away from the heavy impact at the exit of Turn 10, but the car sustained too much damage to be repaired in time for the race.
The 2019 IMSA season concludes with the traditional Petit Le Mans, held Oct. 9-12 at Road Atlanta.
